Our nursery is based in a beautiful Victorian detached house.  The rooms are large, airy and light with high ceilings.  There are dedicated areas for pre-school children, toddlers and babies which are all well equipped for the children’s ages and stages of development.

The pre-school children have two rooms for their use – the “blue room” and the “yellow room”.   Activities are designed to make full use of the space and to enable smaller groups for specific activities.

The “red room” is for our toddlers and this is a large room on the first floor.  It has clearly defined areas for a child to explore and enjoy.

The “green room” is for our under two’s and again is a large room on the first floor.  It is sensitively arranged for the younger age group with areas for mealtimes, for rest, for soft play, for art and craft and for physical development.

We have a bathroom on each floor with child size toilets and wash basins for the older children to encourage independence.  We also have nappy changing units and potties to support the children at all stages of their development.

We have a well equipped, safe play area at the front and rear with lots of outdoor toys and lots of wonderful countryside on our door step for the children to enjoy.

The premises are suitable and clean and staff conduct a daily risk assessment to ensure the areas are safe for children to use.
