Baby and 0-2 Unit
Our nursery is located in a stunning Victorian detached building, featuring spacious, bright, and well-ventilated rooms with lofty ceilings. Within this beautiful space, we have designated specific areas for babies and toddlers, each equipped with age-appropriate amenities that support the developmental needs of each age group. The Baby Unit is designed for children from 0 to 2 years. Here, we provide specialised care and gradually transition children to the next age-appropriate stage when they are ready, based on their individual development. The Baby Unit includes dedicated rooms—Caterpillars, Butterflies, and Bumble Bees—each crafted to foster growth and exploration in a nurturing environment for our youngest learners.
Children are grouped according to their age and developmental stage, moving to the next room or stage when we feel they are ready for the transition. Each child is assigned a dedicated key worker who observes, tracks, and supports their progress throughout their learning journey. Our nursery also features a planting garden at the front of the building and a spacious garden at the back, both of which are accessible to all children, providing them with a rich outdoor environment for exploration and play.

2-3 Year OIds
Just behind the Baby Unit is another building designed specifically for our toddlers aged 2 to 3 years. In close proximity, this space allows for a smooth and familiar transition as children move up from the Baby Unit. This building includes the Ladybirds and Seedlings rooms, each thoughtfully arranged to cater to the needs of active toddlers. With age-appropriate resources and engaging activities, these spaces encourage curiosity and independence as children continue their learning journey in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Breakfast & After School Club
Our breakfast and after school club is now conveniently located at Foley Infant Academy, where Kinver Garden Day Nursery operates as the school’s exclusive after school club. While we lease the space from the school, the program is fully managed by us. Here, we have access to a spacious hall, a dining area, and extensive outdoor spaces, providing an ideal environment for after school activities. Additionally, children in the club have the opportunity to visit our forest school, which we thoughtfully integrate into our planning and daily activities to enrich their learning experiences.
Preschool
In response to growing demand, we recently expanded our preschool program, moving our 3- to 4-year-olds—our Sunflowers—into the nearby scout hut. This hut is nestled within a woodland setting, right next to our forest school, offering abundant outdoor learning opportunities and plenty of space for exploration. Its location close to the local school also allows us to foster strong connections, helping to ensure smooth transitions for our preschool children as they move from our care into a school environment.
Forest School
Our nursery has established a forest area within the nearby woods, located a brief distance away from our premises, and situated on the same grounds as our after school club. Our preschoolers, aged 2-4, frequently visit the forest school and receive education in a natural setting.
The introduction of the forest school has been immensely successful, and the children relish exploring and unleashing their creativity in our forest area.
